About

I am a PhD student in the Maxwell Institute Graduate School of Analysis and its Applications (MIGSAA), formed by the Universities of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt. This is now no longer taking on PhD students, however there is MAC-MIGS, a similar CDT more focussed on analysis and computation.

I am supervised by Michela Ottobre and Kevin Painter, working on invariant measures of interacting particle systems, both analytically and numerically.

This website is a place to document my academic work, as well as place to put other projects I’ve been working on. It is, along with most of my projects, a work in progress. All of my code is available on my GitHub.

Any comments, questions, errors, drop me an email at tmh2_at_hw.ac.uk.

Not sure where to start? See my most recent talk on how animals flock, or if Python is your thing, try this. If not, give MCMC a try!
